Glass Beads Theatre Ensemble Presents Newly Discovered Play, Opens Feb. 5

Lily of the Conservative Ladies, written in 1963, is a newly discovered play by Michael Locascio, who wrote the first original play performed at LaMama. It was discovered by director Mari Gorman as she was hunting for plays for her newly formed company, Glass Beads Theatre Ensemble. The play is a 1950s Noir Suspense drama with comic overtones about a murder involving a young woman controlled by her past. Performances will be at the June Havoc Theatre.

Off-Off-Bway Comes to Life in East Village Fragments Tour

Peculiar Works Project, the 2007 Village Voice OBIE Award-winning company for its production 'Off Stage: the West Village Fragments' will present the site-specific multi-venue companion piece to the West Village performance - 'OFF Stage: the East Village Fragments.'
The Sanitation Chronicles Opens April 18 Off-Broadway

The Sanitation Chronicles, written by Paul Brno (Josephine La Rocca, I Should Ask) and Mary Humphrey Baldridge (Ruth & Robert & Robert & Ruth, Revenge of the Dinosaur Lady) and directed by Peter DeMaio, will play a limited engagement of twelve performances.
