Michael is a classically trained actor & producer, working in the US and Europe, He has been nominated for a SOFIE award (Best Supporting Actor) for his performance in: "If The Trees Could Talk" at The Short Film Festival. The film has won 27 international awards and screened at the Cannes Festival. Michael served as associate producer.
Born to an unknown father of British descent - a military serviceman and a German mother, Michael grew up in an orphanage. While in High School he discovered a passion for ancient culture, classic literature and theater. On graduation day, he played his first role on stage. Michael has been trained in high end restoration work and carpentry.
He studied at the HB Studio NYC, where he has been coached by director & writer Jonathan Lynn and Academy- & Tony Award winning actress Mercedes Ruehl.
Among Michael's notable performances was his portrayal of Fabrice De Simieuse in Jean Anouilh's: Ornifle ou le courant d'air, touring throughout Europe, performing in 96 cities.
He portrayed Mr. Kraler in the critically acclaimed "The Diary of Anne Frank" at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Recently he played the lead role of Karl Rahm in Nicholas Tolkien's Terezin, which premiered Off-Broadway at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater. Michael received excellent reviews for his performance.
Michael played several real life characters on stage as well as on US - television, such as: FBI agent Roy De Vecchio, Colonel von Stauffenberg,, and Claus von Buelow. He has appeared on numerous TV productions overseas
In 2016 he served on the SAG Awards Nominating Committee.
His interests are: traveling, hiking, history, literature. Michael has traveled across Europe and visited Egypt, Bali, Thailand, The Dominican Republic.
