Written by Lake Water's Troy Deutsch (Standby for John Gallagher Jr. in Broadway's Rabbit Hole), IN A TILTED PLACE is a kaleidoscope of a play where lovers, addicts, mermaids, and other strange creatures all stumble through a bizarre, hilarious, and sometimes frightening reality- from Rockefeller Center to the High Line- and nothing is quite as anyone imagined it would be.
IRT Theater's IN A TILTED PLACE Begins 8/8
IRT Theater presents Troy Deutsch's (Rabbit Hole on Broadway) IN A TILTED PLACE, a kaleidoscopic play directed by Ashley Brooke Monroe (Assistant Director Fun Home on Broadway; Assistant Director The Mystery of Love and Sex at Lincoln Center) and Courtney Ulrich (The Feast; Resident Director The Flea Theater). IN A TILTED PLACE will play a four week limited engagement at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B-3rd Floor, New York, NY 10014). Performances begin Saturday, August 8th and continue through Sunday, August 30th, 2015 . Opening Night is Monday, August 10th at 8:00 pm. The Monologue Series to Return with CONFESSIONS OF SIN at Barrow Street Theatre, 6/27
Following a sold-out debut show at Jimmy's 43, The Monologue Series is back for second installment and moving to The Barrow Street Theatre. Confessions of Sin will feature five original monologues written specifically for this evening and performed by five different actors. This one night only event will take place on June 27, 2014 at 10 PM.

In the dramatic anthology Night Windows, The Shelter presents three one-act works each with a nocturnal look at the inhabitants of one apartment at different places in time: people forced to face a moment of great change, whether they want to or not. Based on Edward Hopper's famous and haunting painting of the same name, Night Windows will be performed at the WorkShop Theater Company's Main Stage venue, located at 312 West 36th Street. Members of the press are invited as of the May 6th performance.
