New York Neo-Furturists Welcome New Ensemble Members

This spring the award-winning New York Neo-Futurists are pleased to welcome four new performers to their ever growing and changing roster. Over the next five months, these performers will be joining the cast of The Infinite Wrench, a mechanism that unleashes a barrage of two-minute plays for a live audience, which performs every Friday and Saturday night at 10:30pm at Kraine Theater: 85 East 4th Street (btw 2nd & 3rd Ave). The news cast members are Gregory Lakhan (April 12), Michael John Improta (May 17), Yael Haskal (June) and Michaela Farrell (August 2).

EL COQUÍ ESPECTACULAR and THE BOTTLE OF DOOM to Premiere at Brick's Comic Book Theater Festival, 6/5-27

Playwright Matt Barbot and director Anne Cecelia Haney are excited to premiere El Coqui Espectacular and The Bottle of Doom at The Brick's Comic Book Theater Festival, just days before the 2014 National Puerto Rican Day Parade. El Coqui, which Barbot calls 'a comedy about superheroes and ethnic identity,' has been workshopped at Teatro IATI and Barefoot Theatre Company, and was one of the top three finalists in Repertorio Español's 2013 Nuestras Voces competition.
