BIO

MICHAEL GROWLER (costume design) received Chicago's Jeff Award for his design of Sunday in the Park With George. His Off-Broadway credits include All over the Map; Beyond Words; It Goes Without Saying; 'Night Sweetheart, 'Night Buttercup; Under a Montana Moon; and, as Assistant to Patricia Zipprodt, Picasso at the Lapin Agile. His work for the Actors Fund includes Chess, Hair, Whorehouse and They're Playing Our Song. Some regional favorites are Hedwig, Ragtime, Into the Woods and Damn Yankees. Growler's done wardrobe for over 30 Broadway shows, Ugly Betty, Shopaholic, Boardwalk Empire, both Sex and the City films, The Big C and Late Night with Stephen Colbert.

Chicago Premiere Of RHONDA BADONDA: THE ADVENTURES OF A GIRL WITH A PAIN IN HER BRAIN Announced At The Greenhouse Theater

The Greenhouse Theatre Center presents Rhonda Badonda: The Adventures of a Girl with a Pain in Her Brain, written and performed by Rhonda S. Musak and directed by Gareth Hendee, October 3 a?" 6 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Avenue. Opening night is Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7:30 p.m. Performances are Thursday, Oct. 3, Friday, Oct. 4, Saturday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2:30 p.m. with a short talkback after each performance. All For One Sets Off-Broadway Spring Season

All for One Theater, known for full-length solo shows seen at stages across America since 2011, is presenting two Off-Broadway productions for their Spring Season. All Over The Map, written and performed by Bill Bowers (directed by Martha Banta) will begin performances Thursday, April 21st and open Wednesday, April 27th for a limited run through Sunday, May 8th. Thao's Library, written and performed by Elizabeth Van Meter (directed by Joe Ricci), will begin performances on Wednesday, April 20th and open Thursday, April 28th for a limited run through Saturday, May 7th. The eight other solo shows included in the soloNOVA Arts Festival will play two weeks only at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, inside the landmark Archive Building). United Solo Festival Invites Submissions For Its New Season

Local and international artists are invited to submit their shows to the world's largest solo theatre festival. Proposals may represent all varieties of solo performance, including storytelling, puppetry, dance, improv, stand-up, magic, drama, and others.
