Trap Door Theatre Presents OCCIDENTAL EXPRESS
Matei Visniec playwright, poet and journalist, was born in Romania, and now lives in Paris. He began writing for the theatre in 1977. Early in his career Visniec's plays were banned by the Romanian censors. In 1987 he was invited to France by a literary foundation. While there, he asked for and received political asylum.
Trap Door Theatre Takes REGARDING THE JUST on Five-City French Tour This Month
The Trap Door Theatre is proud to announce that they will embark on a 5 city tour to France with last season's production of Regarding the Just on November 1st. REGARDING THE JUST, translated and adapted by Pascal Collin and Nicholas Le Guevel from Albert Camus' Les Justes, will be directed by Valery Warnotte.
Trap Door Theatre is Headed to Poland
The cast will depart on July 25 to rehearse with Artistic Director Andrzej Dziuk, for a production that will premiere at the Teatr Witkacy, before we bring it home for a Chicago production that will open our season on September 25th!
