Two Portraiture Exhibitions to Open at the Art Gallery of South Australia
The enduring power of portraiture through time will be on show when two major exhibitions open at the Art Gallery of South Australia in July. Large-scale video portraits by ground-breaking artist Robert Wilson will be presented in the Australian premiere and exclusive exhibition, Robert Wilson: Moving portraits, alongside Archie 100: A Century of the Archibald Prize - a national touring exhibition that celebrates 100 years of Australia’s most prestigious portrait award. One ticket will give audiences access to experience both exhibitions.

Brooklyn Arts Exchange is proud to announce Sight Lines: A Night of Performance in Dialogue with the Work of Michael Galasso, curated by Catherine Galasso. Steps Beyond Foundation Announces Opening Night Benefit and Steps Repertory Ensemble's New York Season
The Steps Beyond Foundation, Steps on Broadway's non-profit arm committed to connecting artists and the community through dialogue, performance, and artistic collaboration, announces a 3-day weekend performance celebration May 6-8, 2016 at Ailey Citigroup Theater. The weekend will commence May 6 with the Steps Repertory and Guests Benefit, featuring performances by American Dance Machine, Jon Ole Olstad, choreography by Al Blackstone and the staging of a Swan Lake variation by Elena Kunikova to be danced by a student at Steps. Audiences will also enjoy performances by students of the Steps Conservatory Program and pre-professional students at The School at Steps, with staging by the legendary Leslie Browne. May 7-8, Steps Repertory Ensemble will present a full evening of works by Artistic Director Bradley Shelver and leading choreographers Lar Lubovitch, Sidra Bell, Julia Ehrstrand, and Jae Man Joo.

In Jim Neu's musical 'The Floatones,' four rather strange characters meet at their encounter group and decide the best way to get better is through show business. They form a vocal quartet on the cutting edge of a new fusion between entertainment and self-help. Their night club act shares their group insights in speech and song, interweaving their individual stories, creating a post-Chorus Line. 'The Floatones' debuted in 1995 and will be revived by La MaMa E.T.C. on the play's 20th anniversary, today, May 1 to 10, 2015 co-directed by Catherine Galasso and Keith McDermott. It is the first production of a Jim Neu play since his death in 2010.

The Joffrey Ballet's 2010-2011 Stars season concludes this spring with Rising Stars, a mixed repertory program featuring two World Premieres by Edwaard Liang and Yuri Possokhov, plus a company premiere by Julia Adam. Works & Process at the Guggenheim is pleased to announce its 2011 spring season.
