Brooklyn Ballet's annual production of 'The Brooklyn Nutcracker' continues to grow with new scenes and live music. The production features a ballet/hip hop mash-up and dances from various cultures. This year, the role of the Rat King is originated by 'Krump King' Brian Hallowdreamz Henry.

April's offerings include works of legendary dance makers George Balanchine, Merce Cunningham, Isadora Duncan and Michel Fokine, as well as premieres of mixed genre and interdisciplinary works by Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson.
