BIO
Michael Colby Jones is an Actor, Director, and Professor. NYC theater includes "Straight On ‘Til Morning" (78th St. Theater Lab), "Othello" (American Globe), "Night Dance" (Mint), "12th Night," "Macbeth" (Gorilla Rep), "Bike Wreck" (Metropolitan). TV: recurring roles on One Life To Live, Guiding Light, and As The World Turns, as well as a smattering of commercials, including Webster Bank, and AMICA, both in heavy rotation in the Northeast region. Film: "Killing Cinderella," Fred Lebow’s "Bay Ridge Boys." Michael is a professor in the BFA programs at both Brooklyn College and NYU Tischs' New Studio on Broadway, specializing in classical acting and the integration of voice and movement. After a hiatus to perform his favorite role, father to his twins, Michael is happy to be getting back on stage for the NY premiere production of Jeff Gould's "It's Just Sex!" which is opening at the Actor's Temple on June 25th.
