Michael is a New York based actor working in Theatre, Film and TV. His Off-Broadway credits include Othello (NYTW, starring Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo, directed by Sam Gold), the Obie Award winning play You Got Older (HERE, Page 73), Couriers and Contrabands (TBG Theatre), Fashions for Men (The Mint), the title role in The Notebook of Trigorin (The Flea) and Beyond Therapy (TACT). Regional work includes Coriolanus (The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), Love in the Wars (Bard Summerscape), The Great Gatsby (Virginia Stage Company), A Few Good Men (The Alley Theatre), Arms and the Man (The Guthrie Theatre), The Winters Tale (Chautauqua Theatre Company), As You Like It (Continuum Company) and Dracula (Actors Theatre of Louisville). Film: Sheep Skin, Autumn Whispers, Candlesticks. TV: The Blacklist (NBC), In Performance (PBS). He has collaborated with some of the most exciting theatre makers in New York including Sam Gold, Anne Kauffman, Ken Rus Schmoll, Moritz Von Stupenagel, Daniel Craig, David Oyelowo, Reed Birney, Ayad Ahktar and Clare Barron. He has performed internationally in both Italy and Chile and has taught Voice and Movement at New York Film Academy and the Chilean American Institute in Santiago, Chile. Michael is a grateful member of New York Theatre Workshop's artistic family the Usual Suspects, where he participates as a regular collaborator. He received his MFA in Acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
