SERIESFEST Announces Award Winners for Season 3

SeriesFest announced today the winners for this year's Season 3 festival, nominated from over 40 official selections screened in competition in the Independent Pilot, Digital Short Series and Late Night Competition sections at the Sie FilmCenter this week.
BWW Review: BroadHollow's SHE LOVES ME

BroadHollow's latest offering, the multi Tony winning musical She Loves Me, boasts a superb ensemble cast that wonderfully delivers this sugary-sweet production with panache. Well, mostly sugary-sweet… there are some tense moments peppered throughout. Running through February 26th at their BayWay Theatre in East Islip (then continuing to their Elmont location), this incarnation is excellently directed by Bobby Kabat.

In seeing the Tony winning Sherman Edwards/Peter Stone musical 1776, we get an interesting account of historical events. The cast at BroadHollow's BayWay Theatre in East Islip are comical, comfortable in their roles, and are extremely talented.

Director Michael Canzoniero has just completed principal shooting in 48 hours around NYC for “Making the Day,” a feature length dramedy about two actors trying to raise money for an independent film. Co-directed by Marco Ricco, Stuart Braunstein and Bennett Springsteel and produced by Nikolas Zasimczuk, “Making the Day” may be at least the first feature film with principal shooting to be shot around New York City in 48 hours.
