New Ohio Theatre's NYC Indie Theatre Film Festival (NYCITFF), now in its 7th year, has announced the in-person screening schedule for their 2023 film festival. This year's festival will be a hybrid of in-person and online film screenings and will present work from independent theatre artists that are defying labels and branching out into digital media and film.

Mia Rovegno And Mia Walker Named 2018 Fellows In Television And Film By The Drama League
The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) announced today that Mia Rovegno and Mia Walker have been named this year's recipients of The Drama League's Directing Fellowship in Film and Television, which gives early- and mid-career theater directors their first opportunities to shadow on professional film and television projects. Ms. Rovegno and Ms. Walker will receive financial support, travel allowances, expert mentors, and a shadow directing assignment as part of their fellowship.

Mia Rovegno's NOTHIN'S GONNA CHANGE MY WORLD Set for Waterfront Museum & Showboat Barge in July
For two weekends July 8-10 and July 15-17, the floating theatre on Red Hook's historic barge will present an episodic play about the search for that mythological place called home. Written and Directed by Brooklyn-based Mia Rovegno, Nothin's Gonna Change My World is a play experienced via a series of stories inspired by NPR reports, anonymous letters, RV living blogs, and the Occupy Movement. Mia's recent production of The Way They Live with the Civilians at the Metropolitan Museum of Art was designated one of The New Yorker's Favorite Cultural Moments of 2015. The performance features original music by Alaina Ferris & Matt Schlatter.
