KONTAKTHOF " ECHOES OF '78 Will Embark on Tour
Sadler's Wells, the Pina Bausch Foundation and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch have announced Kontakthof – Echoes of '78 – a new encounter with Bausch's seminal work, conceived and directed by Meryl Tankard, who was one of the main characters in 1978. Tankard will reunite with other members from the original cast for this unique production, which receives its world premiere at the Opernhaus Wuppertal, Germany in November 2024.

Australia's leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performing arts company, Bangarra Dance Theatre will bring Frances Rings' powerful production, Yuldea, to regional New South Wales in 2024. The Yuldea regional tour comes after a record-breaking premiere season earlier this year, which marked Yuldea as the highest grossing tour in company history.

With two days still to go, the Adelaide Festival has set a new record with the biggest box office takings in the event's 59-year history, so far achieving a total box office income in excess of $5,989,183 (figure is inclusive of umbrella shows).
