It will play at Civic's historic 19th Street Theatre facility for 9 performances, including 2 special reduced-priced opening weekend 'previews'. Review - Paper Mill's The Miracle Worker: Children Will Listen
William Gibson's The Miracle Worker is one of those rare serious American dramas you can call a real crowd-pleaser, as much as Oklahoma!, Hello, Dolly! or any other musical with an exclamation point at the end of its title. Death of A Salesman? Long Day's Journey Into Night? Great dramas for sure, but not exactly crowd-pleasers. Heck, we already know there's a happy ending. It's called The Miracle Worker, for goodness sake.

Paper Mill Playhouse's mainstage production of The Miracle Worker officially opened January 27 at 7:30PM, with performances to continue through February 24, 2008 at the Millburn Theatre. There are three added student matinee performances on February 6, 13 and 14 at 11AM.
