The Frist Art Museum presents The Power of Resilience, an exhibition featuring works by more than 80 adult artists with disabilities who are served by five social service agencies in Middle Tennessee. The exhibition includes individual and collaborative artworks and will be on view in the always-free Conte Community Arts Gallery from August 25, 2023, through April 1, 2024.

Guy Cavet Myhre Releases Sci-Fi Novel, THE FETAL ISSUE
Guy Cavet Myhre, author of the science fiction novel 'The Fetal Issue' (published by AuthorHouse), which is getting a revived marketing push in September 2013, sees the world standing at a crucial turning point in which citizens and people in power are debating moral and ethical issues surrounding abortion, birth control, pollution, pro-life versus pro-choice and global warming. Hoping to bring these issues to light for readers, he offers an entertaining futuristic world to consider in this story of one possible direction he envisions humanity taking.
Pianist Ioannis Potamousis Plays the Ware Center, 4/6
On Saturday, April 6, 7:30 p.m The Ware Center presents the music of pianists: Ioannis Potamousis and Anita Renfroe. Ioannis is the Chair of the Music Department of Brighton University in Abu Dhabi. He returns to perform this one-time only piano concert with Dr. Anita Renfroe, who is Professor of Music & Director of Keyboard Studies at Millersville University.
STAGE TUBE: Cowboy Jack Clement Performs in MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
Yesterday evening, Clement took the stage of the Nederlander Theatre to join the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET in the special encore. Cowboy Jack Clement is a legendary songwriter and record producer. On the date of the 1956 Million Dollar Quartet sessions at Sun Records, Jack was the engineer. Without Cowboy Jack, Presley, Cash, Lewis & Perkin's impromptu recording session would never have been documented on tape. Cowboy Jack has worked with such legends as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, Bobby Bare, Elvis Presley, Jim Reeves, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cliff Richard, Charley Pride, Tom Jones, Dickey Lee, Hank Snow, and Waylon Jennings.
