Melody Munitz is a New York-born, raised, and based theatre artist and ’22 graduate of Penn State with dual honors degrees in Musical Theatre and Psychology/Neuroscience. Currently, Melody is traveling the country as Wednesday Addams in the new National Tour of “The Addams Family.” Previously, Melody led the National Tour of “American Girl Live!" where she originated the role of Madison, a new American Girl Doll character inspired by her. Beyond touring, Melody's work onstage spans 15 shows Off-Broadway at venues such as Signature Theatre, Theatre Row, Theater555, AMT Theatre, Soho Playhouse, Urban Stages, and The Barrow Group — as well as many concerts at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and 54 Below. Melody’s favorite regional credits include Elizabeth Bennet ("Pride & Prejudice: A New Musical" - 2nd World Production/Regional Premiere from Tony Nominee Paul Gordon), Hodel ("Fiddler On The Roof" - North Shore Music Theatre's 60th Anniversary production), Brenda Strong ("Catch Me If You Can" - 2024 BroadwayWorld Award Winner for Best Supporting Performer), Phoebe D'Ysquith ("A Gentleman’s Guide..."), and her solo show, "The Science of Love: A Night of Songs & Psychology," (2023 BroadwayWorld Award for Best Solo Show). melodymunitz.com IG: @melody_munitz
