BSO Premieres HAIRSPRAY: IN CONCERT!, 1/24-27
Marking the 25th anniversary of the John Waters' original film, Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly brings together an all-star cast of Broadway, film and TV stars for the full symphonic production of the Broadway musical Hairspray. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will perform Hairspray: In Concert! on Thursday, January 24 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, and at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Friday, January 25 at 8 p.m., on Saturday, January 26 at 3 p.m. & 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 27 at 3 p.m.

On January 4th 2009, after over 2,641 performances, the curtain fell at the Neil Simon Theater on the final performance of Broadway's 2003 Tony Award winning musical HAIRSPRAY starring original cast members Harvey Fierstein and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
