Peninsula International Dance Festival Will Return in July
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural world dance and music festival, the Peninsula International Dance Festival 2023 has announced plans to return with an all-new, two-day festival July 15 and 16, with guest artists from 21 Bay Area companies featuring over 200 dancers and musicians.
Peninsula International Dance Festival Set For Next Month
In celebration of Peninsula Ballet Theatre's 55th anniversary season, the company today announced the launch of a significant new dance initiative, the Peninsula International Dance Festival (PIDF), scheduled for two performances Saturday, July 16 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 17 at 2 p.m. at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center, 600 North Delaware Street.
San Francisco International Arts Festival Announced 2018 Detailed Schedule
The San Francisco International Arts Festival (SFIAF) released the detailed performance schedule for the 2018 Program today. Forty different artist ensembles and companies will present their work exclusively at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) from May 24 - June 3. Early Bird Tickets will go on sale for $15 on Thursday March 1.
Andres Peña and Manuel Malena Join Caminos Flamencos for 1/29 Show
Caminos Flamencos, under the direction of Emmy Award-winning dancer and choreographer Yaelisa and guitarist Jason McGuire 'El Rubio,' has announced details for a three-city tour with renowned guest artists from Spain, Andres Peña and Manuel Malena. Starting at the Irvine Barclay Theater in Irvine, California on January 21, followed by concerts at the New Vic Theater in Santa Barbara on January 22, and the Brava Theater in San Francisco on January 29, the tour celebrates the end of Yaelisa's decade-plus tenure at the helm of the New World Flamenco Festival in Irvine. Tickets for the San Francisco concert range between $25 and $65, and are available for purchase online at brava.org.
