Young Jewish Professionals (YJP) Holds 40 Under 40 Winter Gala In New York City
Young Jewish Professionals (YJP) recently held its 40 Under 40 Winter Gala, honoring 40 CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, and rising corporate talent in the Jewish community. The annual event took place on January 27th, at Espace New York City, with over 1,000 members of the tri-state area's business class in attendance.
New York City's The Other Festival Begins 6/11
On June 11th, New York City will host its very first annual The Other Festival at Spring Studios. Featuring an all female line-up, The Other Festival provides a space and platform for all women to listen, learn and share their experiences on what it means to face and overcome challenges in the modern working world, how they re-wrote the rules of a successful business, put new systems in place and continue to push boundaries for future generations.

UJA-Federation of New York's Professional Women's Philanthropy brought together a diverse group of influential industry leaders in the fields of fashion, finance, entertainment, law, and business for Panel Night: Game Changers on October 9, 2013 at UJA-Federation's headquarters in New York City. Daryl Roth, Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Broadway producer; Rebecca Minkoff, international fashion designer; Melissa Ben-Ishay, president and chief product officer, Baked by Melissa; Deborah Leone, director of Internal Audit, Goldman Sachs; and Jaren Janghorbani, associate, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, along with moderator Bianna Golodryga, Good Morning America weekend co-anchor and ABC News Business correspondent, discussed with an audience of more than 275 women how they are changing the world by changing the rules and taking risks. 'You never know when doors will open for you,' Roth said.
