Singer, actor, dancer. Her first feature film, Straighten Up and Fly Right is due out soon and she just completed a short film with writer/director Jose Rivera. She was the first African born Young Nala on Broadway in The Lion King at age 9. Other credits include: “What Would You Do?” (ABC), “Super Wings,” “Sesame Street,” various voice-overs, “Sandman,” Broadway Sessions, vocal solo, 54 Below, Tree Hause Broadway Cabaret, Tunes in Times Square, “Carols For A Cure” CD, opening solo; Lion King cast, and solo on “I have a Voice” for Broadway Kids anti-bullying campaign. Her last play was Till We Meet Again by Glory Kadigan, directed by Tonya Pinkins and prior to that, Jose’ Rivera’s Fall of the Sparrow as part of Playwrights for a Cause. She is excited and honored to be part of the original Broadway cast of Tina. She is especially grateful to her family and her team, Lisa Calli, Barry Kolker, Bonnie Shumofsky and her voice coach Bryan Wade.
