Meggie Cansler has been seen on Broadway in "The Apple Tree", "Finian's Rainbow", and "Wicked". She toured with the first national of "Wicked" (u/s Galinda) and recently toured the midwest with "Miss Saigon" (Ellen). NY Theatre/ Off Broadway credits include the productions of "Where's Charley", "Bells Are Ringing", "Fiorello", and "Little Me" (Encores! City Center) and she was the cover for Wanda and Chicky in "Lucky Guy" at the Little Shubert Theatre. Regional favorites include: Ariel in "Footloose" and Penny in "Hairspray" (St. Louis, Muny) , Celeste/Elaine in "Sunday in the Park" (St. Louis Rep), she was featured as the Band Singer in the world premiere of "Somewhere in Time" at Portland Center Stage, Woman #1 in "Jacques Brel..." (Riverside Theatre) and loved tapping her heart out as Ruby in Dames at Sea (American Heartland Theatre). Television: The Carrie Diaries (CW Network) Indie Film: When Sunny Gets Blue.
Meggie is a native of Overland Park, Kansas with a BFA from Cincinnati Conservatory.
