Hamlet Isn't Dead to Present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
Welcome to Athens, one of the world's oldest cities! In its time this city has seen countless stories of love and betrayal, but none quite like this one. The tangled knot of four young lovers threatens to unravel the difficult preparations of a royal wedding. Elsewhere, a band of would-be actors plan to create the greatest show the world has ever seen. They all descend into the forest, but little do they know that it won't be only filled with mortal beings this night: the faerie king and queen have their own disputes to resolve!

Following their hit holiday show A Klingon Christmas Carol, Commedia Beauregard is pleased to present the return of its wildly popular dark comedy BARD FICTION, a Shakespearean retelling of Quentin Tarantino's cult film classic Pulp Fiction, written by Ben Tallen, Aaron Greer, Brian Watson-Jones and the collaborative efforts of the Pulp Bard Wiki and directed by Artistic Director Christopher Kidder-Mostrom. BARD FICTION will play July 10 - August 2, 2015 at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago. New York Television Festival Announces Over 30 Deals, 2014 Winners!
Independent artists, industry executives and TV fans celebrated closing night of the 10th annual New York Television Festival this evening at the SVA Theatre in Manhattan, with a series of special events. House of Cards showrunner Beau Willimon kicked things off with the third and final creative keynote of the week, followed by a screening and talk-back of FOX comedy series MULANEY and the Festival's annual awards ceremony. There, NYTVF (www.nytvf.com) announced the winners of its Independent Pilot Competition (IPC) in 12 categories, including 'Best of the Fest' and NYTVF Critics Award honors to 'Dispatch' and 'Witnesses' respectively, as well as recipients of 20 development deals from its network, studio and digital partners.

Our Benedict is noted Actor/Director/Teacher, Alberto Bonilla* who collaborated with the director and hosted Clown workshops for the cast. Although there are no red noses, the deep insights that clown elements bring to the show are self evident.
Ithaca College Theatre Presents MEASURE FOR MEASURE, 4/24-29
Finishing Ithaca College Theatre's 2011-2012 main-stage season is William Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure.". Performances will run in the Hoerner Theatre in Dillingham Center on April 24, 26, 27, and 28 at 8 p.m. and 2pm matinee performances on April 28 and 29. There will be a free talk-back presentation following the April 28th matinee performance.
National Music Theater Conference to Present 3 New Shows This Week
The National Music Theater Conference, led by artistic director Paulette Haupt, will present three shows this week, Son of a Gun, with Book by Chris Cragin, Music and Lyrics by Don Chaffer, with additional music by Lori Chaffer; The Shadow Sparrow, with Book by Anton Dudley, Lyrics by Charlie Sohne, and Music by Keith Gordon; and Suprema, Book and Lyrics by Jordan Harrison, and Music and Lyrics by Daniel Zaitchik.
