The company celebrates the 75th anniversary of this enduringly powerful work with a dynamic, lyrical new dance that resonates with Graham's classic: Peak Performances commission The Auditions, choreographed by Troy Schumacher to an original score by composer Augusta Read Thomas, and performed by seven Martha Graham Dance Company members.

Rock maestro Neil Zaza presents One Dark Nighta??, A Rock Symphony of the Macabre, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 8:00pm at the Akron Civic Theatre. This orchestral exploration mixes dark, powerful arrangements of macabre classical masterpieces by Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Prokofiev, Saint-Saëns and more with the fury of a rock band and string orchestra. Verb Ballets will make a guest appearance, building on the inventive collaboration from the summer, to bring rock and ballet together on stage. Zaza will enthrall audiences on a musical journey with a visually impressive stage set, light show and multi-media screens to tell the evil tale of the monster within.

Rock Guitarist Neil Zaza Joins Verb Ballets On Stage In Akron
Verb Ballets has commissioned The Adagio Reimagined Project in partnership with Jane Startzman featuring collaborating artists Neil Zaza and Sabatino Verlezza. The Adagio Reimagined Project will honor the legacy of Heinz Poll while presenting a bold new reinterpretation of the work featuring musical accompaniment by renowned instrumental rock guitarist, Zaza. The company will remount Poll's Adagio for Two Dancers with permission of Jane Startzman. The original work was created in 1973 to the music Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor for Strings and Organ.The ballet was danced in gold unitards and features striking sculptural poses with meticulous partnering giving the dancers a deity like quality.

Pascal Rioult's RIOULT Dance NY announces its Centered On The Future 2018 Winter Gala to be held on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers – Pier 61 a 6:30pm. This year's Gala will honor Joseph W. Armbrust, Kaufman Astoria Studios, and Steinway & Sons. The Gala Co-Chairs are John A. MacKinnon and Harsha Murthy. Long-time friends of the company, actress Kathleen Turner, will speak and offer a special rendition of It's Only A Paper Moon, and Tony nominated Christine Andreas will sing Hymne a L'Amour reprising her 2015 collaboration with RIOULT. The Gala will feature dance performances, an auction, a gourmet dinner, followed by a DJ and dancing.

Pascal Rioult's renowned dance company, RIOULT Dance NY, the American modern dance company with a European sensibility, announces its 2017 season at The Joyce Theater, May 31 - June 4. This year, Rioult unveils two groundbreaking dances: the world premiere of Fire in the Sky and a re-staging of the classic Te Deum.
