Max Cervantes is a first-generation Mexican- American performer and director originally from the suburbs of Chicago and currently based in NYC. National Tours: Pretty Woman (Happy Man), On Your Feet! (Jose Fajardo/ Emilio u/s) Regional: Ogunquit Playhouse (On Your Feet), Firebrand Theater Chicago (Queen of the Mist), Paramount Theater IL (Rock of Ages, Groundhog Day, Cinderella), Lyric Opera of Chicago (The Light in the Piazza). Recently, he was a part of Roja: a new musical by Jaime Lozano and Tommy Newman at the Forestburgh Playhouse's In-the-works program. Training from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, New Studio on Broadway. Directing credits include: TRU (Chicago Musical Theatre Festival), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Dominican University), The Good Doctor (The Jedlicka), Chicago: the Musical (BAMtheatre). He has also assistant directed tony-nominated actress and director, Michele Shay, on The Old Settler (Billie Holiday Theatre), Blue Stockings (Tisch Drama StageWorks), and Gloria (NYU's Experimental Theatre Wing).
