1812 Productions Sets 20th Anniversary Season

1812 Productions is pleased to announce its 2016-2017 theatre season. The 2016-2017 season is 1812 Productions' 20th anniversary season and includes a variety of original, scripted, and revival works in styles classic and contemporary.
1812 Productions to Present Joan Rivers Tribute, Tony Braithwaite Comedy

1812 Productions continues its 19th season with two limited engagement special events. Created by 1812 Productions' Producing Artistic Director, Jennifer Childs, and Emily Kleimo, A Tribute to Joan Rivers will be followed by a special addition to our season, Tony Braithwaite's one-man comedy Didn't Your Father Have This Talk With You?.
Azuka Theatre to Present World Premiere of SKIN & BONE, Begin. 3/8

In March, Azuka Theatre continues its season with the World Premiere of Jacqueline Goldfinger's Skin & Bone. This play begins previews on March 5, opens Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m., and closes March 23. Tickets cost $20 - $25 and are available at AzukaTheatre.org or (215) 563-1100. All shows will be performed at Azuka's home at The Off-Broad Street Theater, 1636 Sansom Street.

Azuka Theatre to Include SKIN AND BONE, TIGERS BE STILL & More in 2013-14 Season

Azuka Theatre's 14th Season will take audiences on a New York City subway ride, a tiger hunt through suburbia and back to a small northern Florida town that might seem eerily familiar. The season opens with the Philadelphia Premiere of Dutch Masters by Greg Keller. Then it continues with the World Premiere of Jacqueline Goldfinger's Skin & Bone, the second part of a trilogy she started with the terrible girls. The season concludes with the Philadelphia Premiere of Tigers Be Still by Kim Rosenstock. Azuka will also bring back the I Love You, I Hate You Happy Hour - an annual Valentine's Day event that now runs two nights and the tenth year of the Spotlight Series, a week of readings featuring plays and playwrights under consideration for future Azuka seasons. Subscriptions range in price from $45-$60. Subscriptions go on sale July 1 and individual tickets go on sale August 1.All shows are performed at the Off Broad Street Theater at 1636 Sansom Street. The Women and Comedy Project Announces One Night Only Special Events Through 5/19

In conjunction with the premiere production It's My Party: The Women and Comedy Project, on stage now through May 19th at Plays & Players Theatre, 1812 Productions is pleased to present a series of one-night-only special events. These events feature the a host of local and regional female performers with proceeds benefiting two of The Women and Comedy Project's community partners, Women 's Way and Women Against Abuse.
PERMANENT COLLECTION Joins InterAct Theatre Company's 25th Anniversary Season

Inspired by events surrounding Philadelphia's Barnes Foundation, Thomas Gibbons' incisive drama Permanent Collection. The show continues InterAct Theatre Company's 25th Anniversary season as it grapples with conflicting perspectives on race and art. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Seth Rozin, InterAct is thrilled to present this revival of their most successful production in the theatre's history. Due to popular demand, the production has already been extended to May 5.
