THE STING Premieres Locally With The Beverly Theatre Guild
The Beverly Theatre Guild is set to stage a production of 'The Sting' by David Rogers. This will be the local premiere of the play. Performances will take place at Morgan Park Academy Arts Center, 2153 W. 111th Street, Chicago on Fri. Feb. 11th & Sat. Feb. 12th @ 7:30 pm and Sun. Feb. 13th @ 2 pm. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS to Come to York's Belmont Theatre
Do not miss the upcoming show at The Belmont Theatre that will take you back to those 60's Sci-Fi B-movies with the musical comedy LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. American Masters Celebrates Sammy Davis, Jr. and Charley Pride in Honor of Black History Month
This February, for Black History Month, American Masters profiles two iconic performers who broke new ground in entertainment as the Civil Rights movement gathered momentum in America: Sammy Davis, Jr., and Charley Pride. American Masters – Sammy Davis, Jr.: I've Gotta Be Me, the first major film documentary to examine the performer's vast career and journey for identity through the shifting tides of civil rights and racial progress during 20th-century America, premieres nationwide Tuesday, February 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) and is available on DVD the same day through PBS Distribution. The PBS broadcast also features 20 minutes of exclusive bonus performance footage spanning Davis' 50-year career after the documentary. American Masters – Charley Pride: I'm Just Me premieres nationwide Friday, February 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings).
