BIO

Mexican-American actor Matthew Aaron Martinez was born in Houston, Texas. His mother, Rosemary Aleman is a staff member at the University of Houston. His father, Mark Martinez, is a proprietor of land.



Matthew began the his training at the Alley Theater in 2010. In 2012, he earned a spot in the semi-professional drama department at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA). After graduating from HSPVA in 2015, he went on to receive his BFA in Acting from Montclair State University in New Jersey.

Matthew is currently based out of New York and is being represented by Krasny Office Inc.

Credits include: The Witness, in Iphigenia at Aulis 2.0, Foster, in Civics and Humanities for Non-Majors, and the Christian & Aaron u/s, in 72 Miles to Go (off-Broadway).
