BWW Review: BARNUM: Run Away With This Circus

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus may be folding after 146 years in operation, but you can catch Moonbox Productions' loving tribute to its creator, P.T. Barnum at the Roberts Studio Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts. Director/choreographer Rachel Bertone has crafted a dazzling, dizzying staging of BARNUM, featuring electrifying performances, beautiful vocals, and an array of circus routines that are made to look easy by the talented ensemble cast. Come follow the band and join this circus!
Moonbox Productions Presents the Dazzling American Musical, BARNUM

Moonbox Productions, nominated for numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, is thrilled to present the dazzling American musical, Barnum, by Mark Bramble, Michael Stewart and Cy Coleman, April 8th - 30th at the Boston Center for the Arts Calderwood Pavilion, Roberts Studio Theatre, 539 Tremont Street, Boston.  Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm, Fridays/Saturdays at 8 pm, Sat/Sun matinees 2 pm. There will also be a performance at 7 pm on Sunday, April 9th.  Tickets are $60/$50 ($25 for under 25 and $20 student rush ½ hour prior to performance) available at bostontheatrescene.com or by calling 617-933-8600. (*Press performances Saturday April 8th at 8pm and Sunday April 9th at 2pm and 7pm, these performances are open to the public.)
Moonbox Productions to Host Second Annual Cabaret Fundraiser, 10/19

Moonbox Productions, nominated for numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, kicks-off its sixth season with its second annual, one-night only, company cabaret entitled - Decadence, Debauchery and Divas!  The cabaret takes place at Club Oberon, 2 Arrow Street in Cambridge, on October 19th from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm.  Tickets are $25 and all proceeds and donations benefit Moonbox Productions' mission to produce top quality local theater and to help area non-profits increase the reach and impact of their work.
BWW Reviews: ME AND MY GIRL - Madcap Midsummer Mirth

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston brings back this crowd-pleasing British musical comedy about a cockney gent who learns that he is the 14th heir to the Earl of Hareford, but must choose between love and money. Director/Choreographer Cynthia Thole appeared in the original Broadway revival of ME AND MY GIRL and transmits her familiarity with the show to an exuberant cast, led by engaging, talented Peabody native Joshua Holden.
