Polka Theatre Announces New Season For Autumn/Winter 2018
Artistic Director of Polka Theatre, Peter Glanville today announces their new season for Autumn/ Winter 2018 comprising both new Polka productions and visiting work as well as classes and workshops, celebrating some of the greatest living writers for children.
Shenandoah Conservatory Presents AMERICAN IDIOT, Opening Today
Fans of the hit Green Day musical American Idiot will be happy to hear that after the national tour closed in May, plans were put into motion to bring the rock show to the college level-apropos to its age demographic and subject matter. Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia, known for its dedication to pop/rock voice training will be the first school to premiere the work on the non-professional level. According to Musical Theatre International's website, it is currently the only licensed production of the show.

Rover Dramawerks Presents WRENS, Now thru 6/7
Rover Dramawerks will present the award-winning World War II drama WRENS by Anne McGravie at their new theatre venue in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances are today, May 15 - June 7, with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m., plus an additional matinee performance on Saturday, May 24 at 2:00 p.m.
