Jazz Singer Allison Adams Tucker Releases 'RETRO Trilogy'

In addition to her “Wonderland”—a song conceived of at the Alice in Wonderland statue in New York’s Central Park and co-written with Sprague— she ends the EP with her rendition of Jeff Lynne’s “Mr. Blue Sky,” from Electric Light Orchestra’s 1977 album Out of the Blue. Cabaret on the Hudson Series Comes to Irvington Town Hall Theater in December

The performance will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Matt Baker on piano.

Created in consultation with Bacharach, the show spans decades of the hit-maker's many classics while offering a glimpse at some of his newest, never-before recorded songs. The world premiere of "Barzee Sings Bacharach" performs Thursday, Friday, Saturday April 18, 19 and 20 at 7pm, and Wednesday April 24 at 9:30pm.
