At the Geeked Week live event in Atlanta, Netflix announced new cast members who will appear in roles in the upcoming second season of ONE PIECE. Joe Manganiello (True Blood, Magic Mike franchise) will appear as “Mr. 0,' with Lera Abova (Bumper in Berlin, Honey Don’t) taking on the role of “Miss All Sunday.'

Based on the smash hit movie, Legally Blonde: The Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods from a pink-loving SoCal sorority girl to a Harvard law student, all on her own terms. The show will be performed at the Victoria Theatre in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.

Who doesn’t like a good coming of age story, better yet a LGBTQ coming out story to boot? Mix a catchy pop/rock score, a delightfully innocent 16-year-old schoolboy, and some fabulous drag, and you have the makings of a hit show tailor-made for San Francisco’s audiences. Based on a true story and the 2011 documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16, this fictional musical follows Jaime New as he battles homophobia and prejudice to self-actualize into a fierce drag queen.

Joe Tracz to Serve as Writer and Co-Showrunner on ONE PIECE
Joe Tracz, writer of Be More Chill and The Lightning Thief musical, has joined the second season of the Netflix series One Piece. Tracz will be working with Matt Owens, co-showrunner and writer of Season 1, as writer, executive producer and co-showrunner. Tracz previously worked with Netflix as a writer and producer on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Dash & Lily. Most recently, Tracz worked as a writer for the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
