Photo Flash: ROBINSON CRUSOE Opens To Rave Reviews At Greenwich Theatre
On Friday 30 December Greenwich Theatre welcomed the press to the opening night performance of Robinson Crusoe, the latest in a long line of traditional celebrity-free pantomimes at the South London venue. The performance was met with a rapturous response, hailed by the British Theatre Guide as 'a riotous evening of pantomime joy'. The show reunites dame Andrew Pollard - 'one of the industry's greatest' (British Theatre Guide) - with arch-villain Anthony Spargo ('surely one of the greatest Villains of all... his performance is a masterclass in villainy' British Theatre Guide).

Originally seen at the Union Theatre in 2009, Sasha Regan's acclaimed all-male production of Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance will return for its first UK Tour, opening at Richmond Theatre on Wednesday 15 April 2015, with a press night on Thursday 16 April 2015.

According to the National, Polish pianist Krystian Zimerman recently left the stage during one of his concerts in Essen, Germany after being distracted by a fan recording him with his phone. Zimerman claimed that not only did the incident break his concentration, but the appearance of such clips on YouTube lessons the value of his recordings with musical companies.
