Brendan Stackhouse to Direct Once Upon A Time Players' DOGFIGHT, 6/12-14
Winner of the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical, Dogfight, premiered off-Broadway at Second Stage Theatre, and tells the story of three young Marines set out for one final boys' night of debauchery on the eve of their deployment. When Corporal Eddie Birdlace (Alex Ward) meets Rose (Hannah Quinn), an awkward and idealistic waitress, he enlists to win a cruel bet with his fellow recruits, but she rewrites the rules of the game and teaches him the power of love and compassion.

The Gallery Players announces EVITA, the final musical of their 48th Season. With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, this epic musical is directed by Mark Harborth (Rent, Dreamgirls), choreographed by Elyse Daye Hart (Dreamgirls, A Little Night Music), with music direction by Emily Croome. Carman Napier (Next to Normal) fills the title role of the Argentinian legend, with Dale Sampson (Rent) as Che, and Jonathan Mesisca making his Gallery debut as Juan Peron. EVITA opens this evening, April 25th at 8pm and runs through Sunday, May 17th, 2015.
