QUEER TO TELL Storytelling Series To Take Place At LGBTQIA+ Owned Businesses This June
Nick Eibler (The Prom, Fly) & Lavender Public, in association with On The Quays, have announced Queer To Tell: a Pride Month Storytelling Series this upcoming June. Queer To Tell is a storytelling series that takes place over three weeks during Pride Month at different LGBTQIA+ owned businesses. Each show will have a different theme inspired by the venue for the evening and host a variety of Queer-identifying storytellers. Tickets are $15.

The Factory Theater has announced its 28th anniversary season of world premieres including Angelina Martinez’s HOA, September 9 – October 22, Shannon O’Neill’s The Kelly Girls, February 17 – April 1, 2023 and Len Foote and Scott OKen’s Lane Call, June 9 – July 22, 2023 and the late night variety show series Factory After Dark.

The Factory Theater presents the continuation of last year's holiday special, Xmas War, with Xmas War: ENDGAME, December 13 - 21 at Factory Theater, 1623 W. Howard St. Factory Theater's holiday production is a double feature with the company performing last year's show and then continuing the story with this year's sequel. Blaow! Cosmos? Is a theatrical wormhole. Two dancers are ripped in and out of interdimensional vortexes, landing in various alternate realities where they are split between their identities as performers and alien alter-egos. Postmodern dance vignettes intertwine with parody, code switching, poetry, and general freakiness.The chaos gives rise to a survey of dance modalities offered by performers William Robinson and Nikolai McKenzie. Matt Engle plays original compositions that feature upright bass, loop pedals and a sample machine. The performers interact with objects made by multimedia artist Paige Fetchen.Â

The Factory Theater is proud to announce five new members of its artistic ensemble: Brittney Brown, Jose M. Cervantes, Ashley Yates, Michael Jones and Jennifer Betancourt. Factory's ensemble members write all of the Factory's original plays and have full voting rights in the company, including season selection, leadership election and accepting new ensemble members. They are also forced to do arduous chores like helping with strike and manning the box office.Â

New York City's On the Quays Will Present STOP/OVER As Part Of Dublin Fringe Fest
On The Quays, a New York City based production company aimed at producing works that promote inclusivity, has announced it will present the world premiere production of Gary Duggan's STOP/OVER, a swift new play about rekindled friendship, as part of the 2018 Dublin Fringe Festival. Directed by Nicola Murphy, and supported by The Arts Council of Ireland,FringeLab, and The Lir Academy, The Production will run September 12th-23rd on the third floor of The Chocolate Factory (26 Kings Inn Street).
