Photo Flash: ROCK OF AGES Celebrates Opening Night at Drury Lane Theatre

Drury Lane Theatre continues its 2017-2018 season with the regional premiere of the powerhouse musical tribute to the 1980s, Rock of Ages, with book by Chris D'Arienzo, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp, directed by Scott Weinstein and choreographed by Stephanie Klemons. Rock of Ages runs now through October 15, 2017 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace. Coburn, featuring Chicago legends Paula Scrofano and John Reeger, and directed by Ross Lehman. The Gin Game runs through August 13, 2017 at Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook, IL. The Other Theatre Company to Continue Season with THE REALM, 4/14-5/8

The Other Theatre Company (TOTC) and Artistic Director Carin Silkaitis are proud to present the next show in the company's 2015 - 2016 season The Realm, written by Sarah Myers and directed by Kelly Howe, April 14 - May 8, at The Side Project, 1439 W Jarvis Ave. Opening night is Friday, April 15 at 8 p.m. The regular run schedule is Thursday - Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 ($20 for previews) and may be purchased at www.buzzonstage.com/theatres/other-theatre-company. Performances will play The 10th Avenue Theatre Cabaret Space, beginning tonight, July 5th at 11am, July 6th at 12:30pm, and July 7th at 5:00pm.

Diversionary Theatre Present 'Dance/Theatre', 4/22-4/25

Five local choreographers will each create a new dance work for Diversionary Theatre's special event, Dance/Theatre, with four performances, April 22-25, 2010. The project was conceived by Peter G. Kalivas of The PGK Project in conjunction with Diversionary's Executive & Artistic Director Dan Kirsch. This is the second year of what will become an annual event. Dance/Theatre merges theatre and dance audiences while presenting universal stories through dance inspired by productions previously staged by Diversionary. 'We are very excited about this collaboration,' said Kirsch. 'Diversionary has a long history of creating new work, and this project is a great way to connect to the dance community.'
