Joe Wong shares a new track featuring Mary Timony and announces his upcoming album release. The album from the Los Angeles-based, Milwaukee-raised musician, film + television composer (Midnight Gospel, Russian Doll, Master of None) and podcaster (The Trap Set with Joe Wong) also features early singles “Into Nothing” and “Waiting.”

Joe Wong Announces New Album 'Mere Survival' & Shares Track With Matt Cameron, Mary Timony
He also shares the album's lead single, “Into Nothing,” co-produced with guitarist Mary Timony (Helium, Wild Flag). “Into Nothing” features a multitude of textures, from the opening funky bass line into psychedelia-laced indie pop with a mid-song drum breakdown courtesy of Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), followed by a horn-infused release.

Hulu has boarded the critically acclaimed Australian series Safe Harbour for its U.S. debut as a Hulu Original Series. In a deal with NBCUniversal Television and New Media Distribution, the four-part event drama is the latest internationally-produced series to join Hulu's growing slate of thought-provoking original series, and will make its debut on August 24th.

With it, Kramer will be celebrating the landmark anniversary of the MC5's incendiary debut album Kick Out the Jams as well as the release of his memoir The Hard Stuff: Dope, Crime, the MC5, and My Life of Impossibilities, to be published August 16th by Faber & Faber in UK.

The show will then return for an encore season to Brisbane from January 28, before another encore season in Melbourne from February 25, and to Canberra from March 27.

The Penny Seats Theatre Company's sixth summer season at West Park - performing outdoor professional theatre at movie-ticket prices, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout June and July - opens next week with a modern adaption of Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, by Lindsay Price (June 16 through July 2). It will be followed later in July by the 2007 Broadway musical smash, Xanadu (July 14 through July 30) - based on the 1980 cult classic movie of the same name, with a book by Douglas Carter Beane and music and lyrics by Jeff Lynne and John Farrar.
