Griffin Theatre Presents the Chicago Premiere of THE HARVEST

Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to conclude its 30th anniversary season with the Chicago premiere of THE HARVEST, Samuel D. Hunter's drama about a group of young missionaries preparing to travel to the Middle East, directed by Jonathan Berry. THE HARVEST will play July 21 - August 25, 2018 at The Den Theatre (2B), 1331 N. Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to announce casting for its two powerful tales of war, presented in rotating repertory. GHOSTS OF WAR details a young soldier's tour of duty in Iraq following 9/11, based on Ryan Smithson's best-selling autobiographical novel, adapted for the stage by Artistic Director Bill Massolia (In To America) and directed by Jason Gerace (Great Expectations, Last Train to Nibroc). Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Griffin's LETTERS HOME puts the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq front and center by bringing to life actual letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. Written and directed by Bill Massolia, the critically acclaimed production returns home to Chicago after touring the U.S. for more than a decade.

The Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to announce it will create and produce a live stage version of the two-time Emmy Award-winning television show, The Henry Ford's Innovation Nation. Adapted by Griffin Artistic Director William Massolia, The Henry Ford's INNOVATION NATION LIVE! will enjoy its world premiere during Griffin's 2018/2019 season, followed by a national tour.
