Amas Musical Theatre Lab To Present Industry Readings of SETTLE DOWN

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Lab will present private industry readings of “Settle Down,” a new musical with book & lyrics by Gabe Caruso and music by Sangwoo ‘Simon’ Lee. Directed by Christopher Scott, with music direction by Andrew Shield, the readings will be on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 4pm and Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2pm & 6pm.

It is directed by Sidney J. Burgoyne and runs at the TBG Arts Center, 312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor through May 24th.
Phylicia Rashad Honored at Amas Benefit March 31

Amas Musical Theatre will celebrate its 39th year with a Gala evening on Monday, March 31 featuring a special 'Blast from the Past' concert performance of Mama, I Want to Sing, a star-studded concert of the gospel, pop, and rhythm and blues hit musical that began at Amas in the early nineteen eighties. The Amas Gala will also honor award winning actress Phylicia Rashad and PricewaterhouseCoopers with 'The Rosie Award', named for Amas Founder Rosetta LeNoire.
