Cast Announced For SING YER HEART OUT FOR THE LADS At The Chichester Spiegeltent
Roy Williams's SING YER HEART OUT OF THE LADS will be performed in a pop-up venue at Chichester Festival Theatre, the Spiegeltent, which will be transformed into a pub setting to create an immersive theatrical experience. Directed by Nicole Charles, the cast is: Harold Addo, Makir Ahmed, Dajay Brown, Alexander Cobb, Rob Compton, Kirsty J Curtis, Jennifer Daley, Martyn Ellis, Michael Hodgson, Jack James Ryan, Billy Kennedy, Sian Reese-Williams, Richard Riddell and Mark Springer.
RARE BIRDS to Receive Workshop Production
North East poet Natalie Scott has been awarded Arts Council funding to develop her collection of dramatic monologues RARE BIRDS - VOICES OF HOLLOWAY PRISON for the stage. Scott will workshop the piece with director Simon Greiff, and a team of award-winning composers and West End actors, culminating in a special showcase sharing at Soho Theatre on 17th May.

In 2016, Kwame Kwei-Armah, Oskar Eustis and Shaina Taub reimagined Shakespeare's popular comedy as a shortened musical version, forming part of the Public Theater's Public Works Programme (it also had another run this summer, during Shakespeare in the Park) - and now opening Kwei-Armah's tenure as Artistic Director of the Young Vic.
