The Growing Stage to Host 11th Annual New Play-Reading Festival
The Growing Stage: The Children’s Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong is proud to announce four plays selected for their 11th Annual New Play-Reading Festival happening March 4-6, 2022. In the New Play-Reading Festival, four brand-new plays for young audiences, chosen from 150 submitted works, will be read by artists in person at the Historic Palace Theatre.

Fairies, dogs, monsters, genies, and long-lost sisters make up Imagination Stage's 2014-2015 season of professional theatre. In the season ahead, five very different role models for bravery are explored on stage: a night fairy surviving by day; a Dalmatian couple trying to rescue their pups; a little boy facing his darkest fears in the southern swamp; young explorers tasked with saving their city of Baghdad; and two twins unknowingly separated and reunited in an unexpected location.
