Marlene Smith's production of BUDDY! THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY may be on hold until further notice. Tickets for the production, which was scheduled to play the Elgin Theatre, were set to go on sale on August 27th - but are not currently available according to Ticketmaster.

The stars came out on Monday night to toast the 100th birthday of Toronto's historic Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres. Dubbed the 'chandelier gala' the fun filled evening was designed to celebrate the last remaining double decker theatre in the world and to raise money to restore it's gorgeous chandelier. On hand were cast members from the all Canadian company of CATS, Stratford Festival's production of Tommy, as well as many people performing from shows gone by such as Joseph, Ain't Misbehaving, Crazy for You and more. All-Canadian CATS Begins Tonight at Panasonic Theatre
CATS, the show that revolutionized musical theatre around the world, makes its triumphant return to Toronto in an all-new production with an all-Canadian cast. Previews begin tonight, May 28 with the official opening set for June 11 at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre.
CATS Extends Through July in Toronto
Producers today announced that the all-new production of CATS, set to make its triumphant return to Toronto, has added an additional four weeks of performances due to extremely high ticket demand. Tickets for CATS are now on sale through July 28 with previews from May 28. The official opening is June 11. Tickets for the extension go on sale April 24 at mirvish.com.
CATS Returns to Toronto; Will Begin in May
This May, Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical CATS returns to Toronto with an all-Canadian cast. CATS has been presented in more than 20 countries and translated into 10 languages since its London debut in 1981. The Tony Award-winning show begins previews on Tuesday, May 28 and opens on Tuesday, June 11 at David Mirvish's Panasonic Theatre.
