S.Pellegrino' Announces Plans for the Next Young Chef Global Competition

Today, S.Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water announces the anticipated return of S.Pellegrino Young Chef, an extraordinary culinary competition that recognizes leading young chefs worldwide. Following the success of past events, the third edition of S.Pellegrino Young Chef will feature talent from an expanded 21 global regions and will take place over the span of 18 months. It will begin with the call for applications on February 1, 2017 and will culminate with the announcement of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2018 winner at the Grand Finale in Milan in June 2018.
Michiana PlayMakers to Present World Premiere of LEGS: A SPIDER STORY

As part of their commitment to 'Give Back' to the local arts community, Michiana PlayMakers will present a staged reading of Legs: A Spider Story, a new play by local playwright, actor and educator, Bill Svelmoe. The one night performance will take place at The Drop Comedy Club, 822 S. Lafayette Blvd., on October 26, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. with proceeds benefiting the South Bend Civic Theatre.

SBCT to Present STOP KISS at the Firehouse Theatre

The weekends of March 25th-26th and April 1st-2nd, Stop Kiss, written by Diana Son, will be under the lights of the SBCT's Firehouse Theatre on Portage Road. Lucinda Moriarty directs the achronological story of Callie and Sara in an intermission-free play about injustice, fear, homophobia, intolerance, and love.

The decision to accept her could shake the foundations of the British Empire and worse, threaten cigars and brandy time at the club! What will the members do at this most difficult crisis in their three-hundred year history? Why, order more drinks, of course! An inspired, uproarious farce by Nell Benjamin.
