Swing Left-Los Feliz and Stand Up 4 America announced today that comedy legend and Emmy Award-winner Dana Gould will host CHRISTMAS WITH A Z! as 'Dr. Zaius.' The mind-blowing evening of holiday music, comedy and cocktails will benefit Field Team 6, a national volunteer organization whose simple mission is to register Democrats in crucial battlefields across the country to take back the White House. The fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 8:00 pm (doors open at 7:00 pm) at The Satellite, 1717 Silverlake Blvd., in Silver Lake. For those too young to remember the vaudevillian style lounge shows popular in the 50s and 60s in Las Vegas, where an iconic and often talented performer in their own right hosted other acts to keep gamblers entertained as they visited the lounge bar for a drink, looked for a companion for the night, or needed time to recover from a huge loss at the tables, you can now experience a little bit of old Vegas, right here in Hollywood. And I can tell you, I don't remember laughing as hard as I did the night I attended THE TONY MARTINI VARIETY HOUR at Three Clubs Cocktail Lounge, rumored to be the exact same place where Frank Sinatra would hang out with his assorted Rat Pack buddies, friends, and lovers during their own Las Vegas heyday. Las Vegas Film Festival Makes Initial Programming Lineup Announcement

The 11th Annual Las Vegas Film Festival, partnered with CineVegas,announced this morning the initial programming lineup for the 2018 Festival, to be held at Brenden Theatres and Palms Casino Resort June 6 – 10. The lineup includes a mix of feature films and documentaries that have been favorites on the international festival circuit, as well as new additions to this year's Festival - live discussions and live comedy. 2018 also marks the first year with seasoned film festival programming veteran Mike Plante serving as the Festival's Captain of Strategy.
