On Tuesday, February 14, Atlantic Theater Company celebrated the Opening Night of Cornelia Street, a world premiere musical with a book by Tony Award winner Simon Stephens, music and lyrics by Mark Eitzel, choreography by two-time “Bessie Award” winner Hope Boykin, and directed by Tony Award nominee Neil Pepe. Atlantic Theater Extends CORNELIA STREET Starring George Abud, Norbert Leo Butz, Mary Beth Peil, and More
Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) has announced an extension for the world premiere musical Cornelia Street. The production, which will begin performances this Friday, January 20th and open on Tuesday, February 14th, will now play through Sunday, March 5th, Off-Broadway at Atlantic Stage 2.

Dead Darlings Returns with SHAME EDITION
Dead Darlings is back this month on July 12 for Shame Edition at Judson Memorial Church. The show is free with a suggested donations. Hosted by Amanda Duarte (#Pussygrabsback) the show will be featuring Ashley Nicole Black, Kenny Mellman, and Adam Feldman. Show starts at 8pm, but get there early for tunes, snacks and booze at 7:30pm.
Tony & Olivier-Winning Playwright Simon Stephens Coming to Steep Theatre
Steep Theatre Company is bringing Tony Award winner and Steep Associate Playwright Simon Stephens to Chicago for a five-day visit in July during the U.S premiere of his play Wastwater. Mr. Stephens' work, which has been produced extensively overseas, has found an enthusiastic audience in the United States with his Tony-winning adaptation The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and several widely-acclaimed productions in Chicago, including Steep Theatre's Motortown, Harper Regan, and Pornography, and the Griffin Theatre's productions of On the Shore of the Wide World, Port, and Punk Rock. Stephens will be in Chicago July 21 through July 25 and will participate in events and performances at Steep Theatre.
