Goodman Theatre Announces Venue And Date Changes For Two Spring 2020 Productions
Artistic Director Robert Falls announces an update to Goodman Theatre's 2019/2020 Season. The Chicago premiere of School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play by Jocelyn Bioh, directed by Lili-Anne Brown, originally scheduled for the Owen Theatre, will move into the 856-seat Albert Theatre; the Falls-directed major revival of Molly Sweeney by Brian Friel, originally scheduled for the Albert Theatre, will move into the 350-seat flexible Owen Theatre.

Goodman Theatre and the Chicago Latino Theater Alliance (CLATA) presents the Midwest premiere of Daughter of a Cuban Revolutionary, written and performed by L.A.-based artist Marissa Chibas, October 8 -13. The limited engagement premiere is presented as part of Destinosa?"the 3rd Chicago International Latino Theater Festival, a seven-week festival of Latino theater artists and companies from Chicago, the U.S. and Latin America in shows, panels and student performances at venues citywide.

Calarts Center For New Performance Residency And Festival At Teatr Studio, Warsaw Poland
In June 2018, CalArts Center for New Performance (CNP) and Teatr Studio launch an interdisciplinary project combining theater, visual arts and contemporary music, implemented in collaboration by CNP and STUDIO artists. Under the curation of CNP Artistic Director Travis Preston, this developmental residency is a creative response to the tradition and space of STUDIO. The results of this cooperation will be presented on the STUDIO stages and at Plac Defilad during the mini CalArts Studio festival from June 22nd through June 24th, 2018. The project and festival were organized in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
