BIO
Mariel Blatt is one of our teachers who hails from Brooklyn herself and has always had a passion for dance. She began training in tap and ballet from the age of three, and in subsequent years, studied the disciplines of jazz, modern dance, and theatre dance (for 15+ years). She holds a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied the disciplines of musical theatre and learned the importance of not just mirroring choreography, but breathing true, complicated life into it in order to tell a specific story with a clear point of view.

Actor Therapy Spotlights SPRING AWAKENING At 54 Below
ACTOR THERAPY is back at Feinstein's/54 Below- but with a twist! This time, they're singing the beloved score of Duncan Sheik & Steven Sater's rock musical SPRING AWAKENING. Directed by award-winning composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver (35mm, Darling) & ACTOR THERAPY's Director of Events Mathieu Whitman, the show will feature 35 fabulous ACTOR THERAPY students performing alongside a 4-piece band.

LET MY PEOPLE COME Celebrates Memorial Day Weekend at Underground Lounge
Forslund Theatricals LLC announced today that the 2013 revival of Let My People Come, off-Broadway's controversial smash-hit musical revue, will celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with all tickets priced at $25 for the 8:00pm performance on Friday, May 24th at The Underground Lounge, 955 West End Avenue at West 107th Street in Manhattan. Premium priced tickets, which include dinner and a premium drink, are still available in the front row with guaranteed cast interaction!
