Classical crossover soprano and recording artist Maria E. Lane has featured as a soloist on stages across New York and around the world including Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater, Pebble Bar, SubCulture, Birdland Jazz Club and Baretto at The Fasano. Celebrated as “funny, touching, and very musical, delivering her spoken and sung lines with assurance and expert timing” (*Opera Canada Magazine*), Maria holds a B.A. in Music from Columbia University and a M.M. in Voice Performance from The Longy School of Music of Bard College. Her debut album *Crescendo*, released May 2021, features classic jazz and theater standards reimagined as love songs from mother to child.
