31st Annual Gotham Awards Nominations Announced
The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced today the nominations for the 31st Annual Gotham Awards, singling out 29 feature films, 16 series, and 32 performances for recognition in twelve award categories. 'Passing' and 'The Lost Daughter' led this year's nominations.

Written and directed by Rebecca Hall, the film follows the story of two Black women, Irene Redfield (Tessa Thompson) and Clare Kendry (Academy Award nominee Ruth Negga), who can “pass” as white but choose to live on opposite sides of the color line during the height of the Harlem Renaissance in late 1920s New York.

Sundance Film Festival Announces 2019 Film Lineup
The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.
Cinedigm Picks Up MEADOWLAND, Starring Olivia Wilde, Elisabeth Moss & More
Following its premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, Cinedigm (CIDM) has acquired all North American distribution rights to MEADOWLAND, a beautiful, haunting depiction of the psychological toll that a tragedy takes on a New York couple. Driven by a powerful, career-high performance by Olivia Wilde (Her; Drinking Buddies; Rush), the film also features Luke Wilson (Ride; Skeleton Twins; Anchorman; The Family Stone), Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, Listen Up Philip; The One I Love; Get Him To The Greek), Giovanni Ribisi (Results; Selma; Public Enemies; A Million Way To Die In The West), Ty Simpkins (Jurassic World, Iron Man 3, Insidious) and John Leguizamo (Chef; Ride Along; John Wick; American Ultra). The script was written by Chris Rossi, and features a score by Adam Taylor (August: Osage County).
