Cast Announced for Antic Disposition's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING
Award-winning theatre company Antic Disposition have confirmed the talented cast of actors and musicians to bring Shakespeare's much-loved comedy Much Ado About Nothing to audiences around the UK this summer. Nicholas Osmond (Scar/Pumbaa in Disney's The Lion King; Scrooge in Creation's A Christmas Carol) and Chiraz Aich (Ariel in The Tempest for Companie Lardenois; Private Lives at Octagon and New Vic Theatres) join Antic Disposition for the first time to take on the lead roles of Benedick and Beatrice - the sparring partners and reluctant lovers whose love-hate relationship forms the heart of this comic play.
Union Celebrates Black History with James Baldwin's THE AMEN CORNER
The Mayor and Committee of the Township of Union will be hosting their 3rd Annual Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, February 24th with a staged reading of the acclaimed play The Amen Corner by James Baldwin. The event will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Central Five- Jefferson School on Hilton Ave in Vauxhall.

The Guthrie Theater today announced the full cast and creative team for The Sunshine Boys-acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon's sidesplitting comedy. Directed by Gary Gisselman (A Christmas Carol, Lost in Yonkers), The Sunshine Boys will feature Guthrie favorites Raye Birk (Faith Healer, Third) and Peter Michael Goetz (1776, The Government Inspector) as Al Lewis and Willie Clark, respectively, a pair of crabby, retired vaudeville comedians persuaded to reunite after 11 years apart - despite the fact that they hate each other. When these seasoned stage partners are convinced to reunite for a CBS television comedy special, hilarity ensues. The New York Times called The Sunshine Boys "an evening that keeps you laughing and then leaves you surprisingly moved." The production also features a special cameo from renowned improvisational comedian and Brave New Workshop founder Dudley Riggs as Sketch Patient.
