Actors Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre Announces Complete Cast for ALL THE WAY
Political intrigue will take center stage as Actors' Playhouse prepares to open the Tony Award-winning drama All The Way by Pultizer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan. This riveting behind-the-scenes look at President Lyndon B. Johnson's (LBJ) tumultuous first year in office in the wake of President Kennedy's assassination has earned accolades from audiences and critics alike, from its start at Oregon Shakespeare Festival to its powerful Broadway run and most recent HBO Films adaptation starring four-time Emmy® winner Bryan Cranston. Artistic Director David Arisco directs this limited engagement production that will run March 22 - April 9, 2017 at the Miracle Theatre.

A Raisin in the Sun, Lorraine Hansberry's drama, will extend its performance schedule through March 9th at Palm Beach Dramaworks' Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). The production will play the following additional performances: Thursday 3/7 at 8pm, Friday 3/8 at 8pm and Saturday 3/9 at 2 & 8pm.

Considered by many to be one of the greatest plays of the 20th century, A Raisin in the Sun, Lorraine Hansberry's powerful drama, will open Friday, February 1 (8PM) at Palm Beach Dramaworks' Don & Ann Brown Theatre (201 Clematis Street). The production will play a strictly limited engagement through March 3, with specially priced preview performances on January 30 & 31. For twelve years, West Palm Beach's only professional, multi-award-winning resident theatre has brought to the Palm Beaches a distinguished roster of plays under the guidance of Producing Artistic Director William Hayes.

The Silver Palm Awards committee - founded four years ago to honor theatrical excellence in South Florida - has announced that this year it will present the coveted award to 17 individuals, including two for direction of plays, two for playwriting and one for creating a memorable fighting sequence. Also among the honorees is Mosaic Theatre for its ensemble work in the 2011 production of The Irish Curse.
